OOC: I took the discription from the bridge and altered it a bit for what I assumed we’d experience in sickbay without knowing what the bridge knows. I hope that was alright.

IC:
The first warning was the sudden tenseness Ilena sensed in the ship. Then it was the red glow to everything in sickbay along with the klaxons. Everyone on the ship felt the tug as the inertial dampeners struggled against the backwards movement, causing everyone to stabilize themselves. Ilena grabbed onto the nearest biobed for support. Ril was suddenly beside Ilena, his large body supporting hers and keep her steady.

She felt something hit the ship sending everyone not in a chair to the ground. RIl did his best to keep Ilena from falling, but as the ship was knocked downward with great force she fell anyway.. Sparks flew around the bay as the the ship was hit again and again. Ilena could feel the ship begin a downward spin, as power flickered on and off in protest.

The ship seemed to be spinning out of control. Ril was doing his best to lay across her and keep her still. The g force was unusual and told Ilena that some major damage had happened. “Hold position until the ship settles. Don’t try to get up, or you’ll hurt yourself with the equipment being flung around. Everyone call out!”

From her position on the floor she could see the main display and watched for incoming medical alerts.

Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer

Boris was caught off guard by the blaring klaxons and the sudden shift into red, nearly losing his hat as he was knocked off balance as the ship lurched underneath him. While he had some emergency training, his already fragile nerves were shot as he hit the floor, though fortunately, he seemed uninjured for the most part. The last thing he expected was such an emergency on his first day, and fear was quite visible in his eyes.

Remaining on the floor, trying to get his bearings, he defaulted to his native tongue, calling out. “To okropny czas! Kryzys nie jest dobry! Muszę być potrzebny w inżynierii!” (Translation: “This is a terrible time! The crisis is not good! I must be needed in engineering!”) In a panic, he initially tried to get back up and head for the door, but the lurching of the ship caused him to lose balance once more. Though, instead of falling to the ground again, he braced himself against a wall, though he hit his head in the process and gave himself a bleeding wound.

“Engineering cadet Boris Levetski, reporting! I’m… Oh…” He paused as he put a hand to his head and felt it wet. Upon realizing he was bleeding, he nearly went into full panic, but managed to avoid completely flipping out. However, he did panic a little bit more. Leaning against a wall for support, his breathing was rapid. Perhaps it was unbecoming of a starfleet officer to panic so readily, however, he’d never experienced a true emergency before. He’d been involved in simulations, sure, but he was always aware they weren’t real. Now he was in danger, and his anxiety was at full force.

Cadet Boris Levetski, engineer.

OOC: I’m super flexible and in most cases I’ll just adjust the sim to fit the nartive provided so long as it does not break the sim. Everyone should feel free to be creative, this ship is about learning, so I may push back on somethings if needed but just because it might not fly out in the fleet. In this case, totaly great job !!

IC: Casuality reports were coming in from every deck, some critical some not. There was still plenty of chaos however two things were clear, sick bay was about to fill up, and sick bay was not big enough take all of them at once.

So many. They had five biobeds and they would fill up fast. They also had three emergency biobeds that could be erected. “NE Medic, get the emergency biobeds set up as soon as you can get up.” They would have to open a triage area. =/\=Rox to Biochemistry lab. Are you safe to use for triage?=/\= It was just down the hall and would make getting aid to the patients quick. If anything broke or contaminated, they had a whole different problem.

OOC: Cross posting from the bridge

=^=Arlander to Sickbay, medical emergency on the bridge,=^=

~Viveca Arlander~

=/\=Aknowleged Arlander. Neddleberg in route. Sickbay out.=/\= Ilena looked around. There wasn’t enough room for the number of casualties they would have coming in. She made a quick decision. “Neddleberg!” she called out over the klaxons, “Take a kit and NE (Nameless Ensign) Nurse and go to the bridge. On the double!”

Ril slid off of her and sat while she got up. “Levetski are you alright?”

Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer

Flows of people from the current deck came moving in, within another minute there were 10 people in sickbay or just outside, another 24 had be reported including one of thier guests.

The cadet froze, as if disassociating with the situation. He entered his own headspace in a means to calm himself from his utterly shot nerves, and didn’t realize the doctor spoke to him for a while, until he snapped back to reality and noticed sickbay was filling up. Making a great effort to push aside his emotions, he took off his hat, which surprisingly had remained on his head the whole time, and tossed it somewhere that it wouldn’t get in the way. There were people who were in a far worse state than he was in, he’d speak to a councillor later.

“I-I’m fine, comrade. Just minor b-bleeding. Is there a-any way I can assist?” He offered. Sure, he knew his way around a isolinear spanner more than anything medical, but these people needed help, damnit! He couldn’t just sit around and cry while there were people who needed help! Surely there was a way to help, even if he were utterly terrified. “I-I only know b-basic first a-aid, but m-more hands are always good, right?” He continued. His injury wasn’t life threatening at least, just a minor bleeding cut. He at least knew enough as to what a dermal regenerator was, due to a class he took feeling as though it’d come in handy. Picking one up from nearby, he clumsily attempted to use it to mend the cut on his head as he waited for a reply.
