Background:

Kristina had a sheltered life with her parents. She grew up mostly on Earth, though on occasion her mother and her would live on board her father’s Starfleet assignments early in his career. This ended in 2371.

Her world was turned upside down when it was revealed that her father Andrew had had a daughter with another woman prior to marrying her mother, Janine, but knew about Halai and kept her existence a secret from the family until the Dominion War when he sent Halai to Earth to live with his parents because it was no longer safe to have Halai aboard with him.

Confused about her half-sister but wanting to to know her better beyond stories and her mother’s own dislike of the woman she refused to accept as a daughter Kristina craved a relationship with Halai, then the Head of Science & Terraforming on the Oed V colony. At the age of 24 Kristina showed up one day on unannounced on Oed. She was mugged and Halai learned about her half-sister’s presence after she was brought to the hospital.

Aimless and confused about her life, Kristina moved in with Halai, and many arguments with her parents ensued. The relationship with the two sisters was at times strained as Kristina’s lack of motivation frustrated Halai.

Things came to a head when in 2396, Halai was attacked in her villa and Kristina abducted. It was a plot to get Halai to follow them back to Tyrelllia, where her people were going through a crisis. Members of the Clerics of Ashein, a previously thought extinct spiritual group, treated Kristina exceptionally well and while on Tyrellia, Kristina began to understand her sister’s heritage and special burgeoning gifts. The whole ordeal ended when Halai decided to resign from the Oed Cabinet to pursue a life with her people, helping them find their way back to their spirituality and their genetic gifts.

Kristina returned to Oed and enrolled at the University, studying Public Relations and Diplomacy. After finishing a two-year diploma, she took a break and spent six months on Earth before returning to Oed, drawn back to the colony life. She is currently looking for work on the colony while attending classes to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration- Public Administration.
