Maybe I’ll join you next time, it’s been a while since I’ve held the business end of anything.” She winked as she finished her statement and surveyed the group. “Well, as fun as this has been, I think it’s about time for me to get some sleep. You all probably should too; I don’t want to hear any yawning on the bridge tomorrow.”

“I was thinking it’s about time to leave, have a good evening,” Paron nodded as he stood up, “and I’ll see you later,” he said as he made his exit from Nine Forward.

Kaylee followed Paron to the exit of the lounge, stopping him briefly with a hand on his shoulder. “You handled that really well,” she commented. “Nice work, Lieutenant.”
