Cassandra examined the room, ensuring everything was set up properly for the night’s events. It was rare to have a chance to let loose and she was hopeful they’d be able to throw this party without having a rude interruption.

Taking a seat at a table, she just had to wait for people to show up at the time she had sent the invitation out for.

It didn’t take that long for some of the crew to get in, and Kai was with the average group walking inside of the Nine-Forward. Indeed he was surprised about the party for the mission conclusion and received the notification of the invite, just prior the end of the project he was working on with the science team.

In the local, already 5 or 6 persons were seated in the various tables across the smooth floor and it was to the Cadet to find the proper seating in the room. Walking towards the Captain, whose figure was the first to be noticed, Kai opened discussion and greeted her Commanding Officer: “Aye Ma’am. A sweet evening, I suppose.” Responsibly said, still looking for a place to go.

Kaylee hurried in moments later, making her way over to Rixan immediately and sliding into a seat by her side. “Pretend I’ve been here the entire time,” she said with a laugh as she got herself settled for the party to celebrate the conclusion of the Challenger’s mission.

Cmdr Adrie, XO

The rushy First Officer, delighted Kai’s laugh a bit, and after a prompt hand greeting, he said to Adrie “I guess You were there the whole time!”
After replying, Kai found out a place where to sit just behind the XO and with gentle moves he was moving to sit.

Kay nodded with immense pretend seriousness. “The whole time,” she reemphasized.

Not long after the XO arrived, Paron made his way to Nine Forward about five minutes before the arranged start time. He had a quick look around and hoped that he would be able to let loose himself, and that no trouble would come to the party. He walked over to get himself a drink, then made his way to the captain and the first officer. “Captain, thanks for the invite. Commander, at least we didn’t mess up our first mission in our respective positions,” he said towards Adrie with a smile. He also noticed that Kai had also already arrived. “Good to see you, cadet. Good job down on the asteroid,” he said with a sincere tone.
