“Hot tea please.” She tip-toed over to the seat and laid back and sighed. “Well, there isn’t much.” Her eyes began to shift. “I mean, there is some stuff but its stuff I don’t really talk about. But if you wanted you could look in my records. I can’t really stop you. I’m sorry I’m rambling.” She shifted around in her seat while running her hand through her red hair and biting her nails.

Paron took the tea from the replicator and walked over to join the cadet at the desk. Placing the cup down. “I can, and there is a chance I already have. I just like to hear it from the source,” Paron replied. He could see the nerves on the cadet. “There’s no need to be worried cadet. The fact that you’ve made it this far in your training is a testament to your skills. Not everyone makes it to this stage of the academy. I remember my first time reporting in on the cadet ship,” he smiled and took a more relaxed tone. “So, why Starfleet?” he asked casually.

“Why Starfleet? Well, the Klingons weren’t accepting, and I don’t think Borg tech would look good on me, plus who wants their ship to be a cube?” She laughed. “Maybe I could go Ferengi.” She smiled and picked up the cup, examining it and then taking a small sip. “In all seriousness, I just want there to be peace in the galaxy. I decided to go to space. To discover, bring peace, and maybe leave a good mark.” She stopped biting her nails, “Oh, forgive my manners, I’m Lucy. I hope you’re the Chief of Security.”

Torias nodded slightly as she answered his question. “Well, Cadet. If the nameplate on the door didn’t give it away, yes, I’m the Chief of Security, Lieutenant Torias Paron aboard the Endeavour. Welcome aboard,” he smiled as he offered a hand out to shake.
