Cain nodded and entered as he took a seat. “Thank you sir, it’s a pleasure to be aboard.” Cain said as he looked around just briefly, taking in the decor of the room.

“Any difficulties?” Johnson asked. “We’re in the process of re-supplying at the moment, and bringing on new crew. It’s a bit chaotic on Endeavour at the moment.”

“None at all, just happy to be aboard.” Cain said, his tone even as he spoke. Cain didn’t seem to want to say anything, but he didn’t seem withdrawn either. He came off as just a naturally quiet person as he waited for the Captain to ask any additional questions.

There must be some differences between security on a large starbase and security on a starship - especially an Academy starship with cadets on board. What do you think about the transition?”
