As was expected of any new arrival, Jacob had been ordered to sickbay for a check-up with one of the Medical Officers there. He was not a big fan of this idea, or really doctors in general. What was the point of wasting time to only learn that you’re fine?

While pondering this line of thought, Jacob realized he had reached his destination in question.
Let’s get this over with he muttered quietly, striding into the room mustering the ‘friendliest’ face possible.

“Excuse me, but…I was told I needed to check-in here for a, um, physical” Jacob stammered, tumbling through his words.

OOC: So here, if you haven’t seen them yet, I’m going to use an ‘NE’ or nameless ensign. They’re like NPCs. :)

NE nurse Mark Preston turned to Jacob, listening to what he had to say. “Oh? I think Lieutenant Mika is the main doctor on staff right now. Let me get her.” He said, and then he rushed off into the sickbay.

Nearly twenty minutes passed before junior Lietuenant Mika headed towards Cadet Benjamin, stopping just short of him. “You must be Cadet Benjamin. I’m sorry you had to wait so long,” she said with a nervous laugh. “It’s… busy today to say the least. I’m Lieutenant Junior Grade Tandra Mika. Nice to meet you!” She said and gave him a friendly, if tired, smile. “If you’ll follow me, we can get started.”
