Fayth walked with Lt Mika down to the holodeck. She pressed the button on the panel, “Computer setting: Forested planet, configure with both beneficial, benine, and detremental veggitation. Add a village. Scenario, choose from a random configuration of known illness and injuries that occer on newly colonized planets? Provide patients as necessary.”

Fayth looked at Lt. Mika, “Anything else we should add?”

Cadet Fayth, Doctor

“Also make sure the weather is clear, and the patients actually want our help,” Mika said. “We don’t need too many complications on our first go I think. Besides that, the computer can decide the scenario.” She was quite excited for this excersize, but just in case any other medical Cadets were interested, she quickly sent out an invite to tell them it was happening, and welcoming them to join if they wished to.

“Aye Mam,” Sharah added the additional parameters to the program. The computer ran the imput data, “PROGRAM ACTIVATED, ENTER WHEN READY.”
“All set, whenever we are. We did not program this for medical tricorders or medkits. Should we add tricorders? They will help identify what’s wrong so we know what we need they can also be used to scan the vegitation to see if there is anything that would help? Until we learn to identify them?”
At the Lt’s nod Sharah added those as well. “PROGRAM UPDATED”

OOC: Do be careful about assuming reactions from another character, even though it was agreed upon in discord DM. Just a tip :)

IC:
“Alright, let’s jump in,” Mika said, heading into the Holodeck. As soon as she did, she was in the middle of a lush forest, the trees blocking out much of the holographic sunlight. Growing from the forest floor were several different types of shrubs, some growing berries, some not. There were also a few different ferns and grasses growing. If they looked closer, there’d likely be more as well. Further into the forest, they could hear voices - though from this distance they wouldn’t be able to tell much about the owners of the voices. Just that they were there.

IC: Fayth followed Lt. Mika onto the holodeck. She looked around, “Wow, we have a lot to work with.” Fayth looked around, “I guess the tricorders will be near those people, they aren’t here by the door.” She took another look around, “Shall we?”

“You’re right. They might have a basic med kit, in that case,” Mika said. Nodding, she began to head in the direction of the voices. “Let’s see what’s going on up here.” As they moved through the forest, they’d see much the same, a lot of foliage, which may or may not be useful to them. The voices came from a small village - what looked like a Federation colony. There were several houses and other buildings, made out of materials likely gathered from the woods. There were at least fifty people living there, some inside, some out, and some out in the fields, growing food.

OOC: I hope this is okay. If it’s too much or not the way you wanted I can rewrite it. I wasn’t sure how much you wanted me to add.
IC:
Sharah moved into the village proper and looked around making note of where things where. Their water supply access off the center of a village square. Near by she saw a collection of medical tricorders. She picked one up and passed another to Lt. Mika. A large crash was heard coming from the fields and then someone screaming for help. “Guess that’s our first patient.” Sharah took off at a jog towards the field. There were five people in the field. The machinery had malfunctioned and there had been an obvious accident. The first person she reached was crumpled on the ground, but coughing strongly. It appeared that the small blast from two of the machines colliding blew her backwards. Moving closer Mika and Fayth could see that no one was trapped, but they all appeared to be injured in some way. “I guess we need to triage first.” She knelt down, “Mamm, can you stand? Slowly I”ll help you. I want to get you out of the way of any more explosions.” She the woman stood with help and was able to hobble out of the way.
“Thank you. I think I’m okay for a moment.” She kept coughing.
Fayth looked at Mika, “She appears to just be winded and is talking. Should we move on and circle back or stay here? It’s a holodeck so we can pause the triage if needed.”

“Let’s get a count of everyone here. We don’t want to miss anyone,” Mika said. “She should be able to hang on for a while, we’ll just need to keep an eye on her,” she continued, heading towards one of the other five people to assess them. Mika figured the best course of action would be to quickly assess everyone, and then prioritize who needed help first.
