Sharah had finally been cleared off of restricted activity. She was working full shifts now and was ready to do more than sit in her quarters. She wanted to get out. Arguing over most introverted? What was I talking about? Actually she didn’t want to be around people so much as get out and stretch her legs. Challenger was a small ship and by now everyone knew about the crazy doctor. She wasn’t looking forward to the rumors and stares and questions from her fellow cadets.
She was ashamed of her behavior, but more, extremely disappointed in herself for not recognizing her behaviors as symptoms of something going wrong. Of course, she knew there was nothing she could have done. The parasite not only disrupted her telepathy but had made her synapses misfire. Her doctor on Betazed was impressed she had functioned so well. He surmised that a less powerful telepath would have collapsed much sooner with more devastating results. Of course they wouldn’t know until someone else was infected, and Sharah hoped that would never happen.
At her request, the medical staff had reviewed all the work she had done. Luckily no one had been injured or mis-diagnosed.
“Sharah knock it off. Be proud of yourself for doing so well. Get out of your quarters before you start talking to yourself.” She smirked at her very bad joke and walked out her door. She contemplated the arboretum, but she always went there. She enjoyed the solitude, but she didn’t feel like sitting staring at plants right now.
She began to pace down the corridor, no real destination in mind, just wanting to walk.As Fayth neared a juncture in the corridor, Cadet McMorran flew around the corner and barrelled straight into her. McMorran let out a breathy shout, “Yoww!”, and recoiled. Dressed in her dark running gear, the cadet was breathing heavily. An obvious layer of sweat had formed across her features. “I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have come round like that.” Aili was aware that something had been up with Sharah although the other cadets and staff had all been professional in not openly discussing her private concerns. Doubled over with her hands on her knees as she caught her breath, the cadet reckoned she should dispense some positivity. “You look well! It’s good to see you up and around.”

Kyle was concentrating, so much that he didn’t notice Cadet McMorran stopping as he rounded the corner. He was forced to try and jump over the two young cadets as he got close. Kyle just managed to barely stick the landing, almost sending himself careering into the adjacent bulkhead. He was suddenly very embarrassed but decided to try and make a joke out of his discomfort.
“Blimey, you could’ve warned me you were going to stop.” He said with the appropriate amount of dry wit.

OOC: My Bad! Fixing a splitFayth ‘heard’ her coming closer at a quick pace and just barely got her hands up in time to steady them both. “It’s okay, it’s totally my fault. I should have moved over,” she said to them both. Sharah stepped back to let the other cadet catch her breath. “Oh,” Sharah blushed a little. Here we go. “Thank you. I’m feeling a lot better. Aili right? We talked at the cadet mixer, briefly.”
Sharah smiled just a little. She remembered Aili had seemed to have splashed her face with water that night, and thinking she, Sharah, probably could use some ‘bracing’ as well. She had seen her spending time with Lt. Mika that night before she had been forces to leave.“Are you alright Cadet Anders?” Sharah was always a doctor first. She turned to look to make sure he was alright.
Cadet Fayth, DoctorAili smiled. “Aye that’s right. Sha…arah is it?”
Kyle smiled, he appreciated the gesture. “No bother Cadet,” he said smiling, “Nout a good sonic shower won’t fix.”
OOC: ‘Nout’ is a Northern English colloquial term for Nothing. Weird how I decided to make Kyle Northern, considering I’m from the Midlands lol.
“Aili straightened up and turned to Anders. “I don’t believe we’ve met. As Sharah said, I’m Aili!”. Her hand extended in greeting.

Mara had been sitting on a nearby box, possibly filled with equipment of some sorts, she didn’t bother to read the label. She was quietly reading a book on Vulcan culture before being rather abruptly interrupted by the other cadets. Though, she wasn’t angry or upset by the interruption, instead she was rather glad. It gave her the perfect opportunity to observe others on the ship, and maybe even make new friends. Marking where she was in the book with a ripped piece of paper, she put it down next to her and watched the cadets without saying a word.

OOC: Split fix - Jamie
Sharah glanced over at Oxton and saw she shared the same past time. She took a deep breath, gathering her courage and walked over. “I see we share the same past time.” Referring to people watching. Sharah did it a lot even though she rarely actually engaged socially with those around her. The purpose of this cadet mission is to learn to work together, and she was going to that, even if it was hard.
Cadet Fayth, DoctorKyle smiled and returned the Handshake, “Kyle Anders, at your service, thought I’d join you lovely ladies for a run after a pretty successfully meeting with Commander Korczak, hope I’m not intruding?”

OOC: Fixed the split again, do be careful! :) - Jamie
McMorran blushed slightly at Anders’ comment, the pigmentation obvious on her pale skin. “Ah, sure, yes. I’m beyond on my schedule, hence the rapid pace. Sure you can keep up?” She smirked playfully.

Rainns was walking quickly walking down the hall. The young man had just finished his shift and was looking forward to a quiet night in his quarters. As he rounded a corridor he suddenly came to a halt at the gaggle of Cadets that had amassed in the hallway. “What the?” He asked. Visibly surprised by the sight of so many in such a small area.
LT JG Joseph Rainns- COS
OOC: Fixed it again! - Jamie
Sharah looked up knowing who was coming. When Rainns walked around the corner she caught his eye and shook her head. She wasn’t really sure how they all got there, but they were. He was off shift, but some of his officers were in this mess. “Oh sorry, Lt. We literally ran into each other, and haven’t sorted out the tangle yet.”
