USS Challenger
OCC: Lost
Posted by Lieutenant John Gordon (Chief Engineer) in OCC: Lost
I have made it to my destination and am in the process of getting settled. However, as the last month has been rough for me, I seemed to be at a loss on what I should be doing. If possible, could I get a quick brief on what or where John should be so I can jump in.Thanks,
Christopher
Ooc: Sim recap
. The Challenger arrived at the Potterfield, Scans show the cargo hauler id dead in space. Life support has failed pretty much everywhere but on deck 3 of the Potterfield, reactors and warp are both completely dead. Hails recieve no responces. Ships sensors can only locate 5 of the Potterfield crew but lock ons are impossible as the sheer amount of plantlife on the Potterfield is making sustaining a lockon impossible and likely other factors like interferance or lingering effects from what caused the Potterfields power systems to fail are disrupting scans. A away team lead by the XO beams over. Tricorder readings by away team members are unreliable. A transporter error seperates the Engineering Cadet from the away team. Things go from bad to worse quickly. The Away team is emergency beamed back to the Challenger after less then 10 minutes with wounded. The Transporter chief forgets he is supposed to beam the away team directly into medical quarantine and keeps them in the transporter room long enough to deliver a senile diatribe about Stupid things. Then remembers his orders and finally beams the wounded, infected, demoralized and now insulted away team to Med bay. Nobody ends up in a bulk head by some miricle. Unlike poor engineering Cadet Locke who is either floating in space, still on the Potterfeild or a integral componant of a bulkhead. so thats pretty much where the sim is. I left out what specifically happened to the away team as being on ship you wouldn’t know.also the transport thing kinda urked me and my summery relects that sorry.
