He steps out of the turbo lift and walks nervously down the hall toward sickbay. Because he is afraid of going to the doctor he is not looking forward to going to sickbay. He has been trying to work on overcoming this fear since he will probably have to go to sickbay plenty of times, but it is slow going. “Calm down Richie,” he said aloud to himself as he walked. “You can do this. There’s nothing to be afraid of.” By the time he had finished talking himself down he had reached the door to sickbay where he hesitated for a moment. He then took a deep breath, walked in, and finding the nearest person in a blue uniform he said, “E-e-excuse m-m-me.” He cleared his throat and continued saying, “My name is Cadet Locke and I am here for my onboard physical.”
