OOC: sorry I was on loa family emergency.

The way forward through the underground was long it would take hours to get through, as they made their way into the lyft the doctors signature went down two decks as well. As the lyft doors opened again they were staring at the forest once more. They had moved but they were right back where they were.

OOC: It’s all good , i hope alls well with your family now?

IC: “How can this be?”

Chris said quietly to himself

“Sir it appears we are right back where we started, i would imagine it has something to do with this forest, we were warned about telepathy being used”

He said to the XO, he had no idea how they would get out of this place

“Wait, is this forest multiple decks?” he said looking around as he pulled out his tricorder.

Cadet Black Cat

“Yes it does, the tricorder shows that we are in the exact place we started”

With a slight pause, he then continued

“I hope the good Doctor will be with us soon.....I have a really bad feeling about all this”

Chris had always had a somewhat sixth sense when it came to danger, had this been in some place far away and a really long time ago, he may have been tested for magical powers or something but alas this was reality and nothing of the sort(that he knew of) would actually be a thing.

Toby sighed as he realised they were right back where they started.
“Well, this is getting interesting. I suspect something wants us to go through that forest.” Think, Atob. Think. What should we do.
“Cadets.” He said, turning to Taylor and Black Cat. “Is there a way around the forest?” He pulled out his own tricorder and began to scan to see if there was a way over the forest.

As the commander read his tricorder it was clear that they were indeed back on the same level, as before the only way was through or around the outer edge, beyond the dome was open space. Perhaps the cadet did not enter the correct destination in the lift.

Chris remembered back to his own scans and realised they could go round the outer edge, which would take an inordinate amount of time to trek, however it seemed they didn’t have much choice at this juncture, he paused for a moment hesitating as to whether he should say something or not, then he thought the XO seemed like mellow and understanding officer, so he went ahead

“Sir, if i recall from my own scans, the trek on the outer edge would be our best course of action at this juncture.......it will be very long though”

He said with his tricorder holstered and his phaser in his right hand, set to stun of course, afterall they didn’t want any accidents.

“But sir, the Captain did say we should stay out of the forest. Perhaps we should go around the edge of the forest.”

Cadet Black Cat

“I believe i said just that”

Chris side with slight irritation in his voice, he was unsure why Cadet Black Cat was repeating what he said but he wouldn’t say anything about it until it moved into the annoyance territory

Atob turned to Cadet Taylor and gave him a warning look before addressing them both.
“Okay, let’s go round the outer edge, keeps your eyes open for anything and keep those scans going. I want us to be prepared for anything to happen.” He stated and then headed, cautiously, round the outer edge of the forest.
