Ilena had taken the time to get her boarding physical out of the way with one of the outgoing doctors. She had wanted to check out the medical facility first thing and find out about any cadets or outstanding needs before the current doctor left.

Then she made her way to the bridge and Cpt Foley’s ready room. She paused outside the door and pressed the chime.

Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer

“Come in,” Aaron called out from behind his desk. Looking up he saw found a Lieutenant he didn’t recognize, and he was only expecting one new officer at right now.

“I’m guessing you are Lieutenant Rox, our new Chief Medical Officer.” Standing up he extended his hand towards her.

Capt Foley - CO

She moved forward cautiously, feeling a bit uncertain without her service dog. She wasn’t going to bring him on the bridge though. She took Foley’s hand with a contagious smile. “Yes, Sir I am. I’m excited to be here.”

Lt. Rox, Chief Medical Officer

“And we are excited for you to be here, please,” Aaron said indicating the chair across the desk from him. “Would you like something to drink? Water? Coffee? Tea?”

“Water, please,” Ilena requested as she sat. “I have to admit, even after all these years it is a bit surreal to not be a cadet on an Acadeny ship.”
