Things had been quiet for the Denobulan Doctor. He had not had any patients in a few days so wven though there was personnel in sickbay for some reason it felt awefuly quiet. The Dr told his staff to call him if something happened and then he set out. At first he walked the peremiter of the deck circling around until he had passed the turbolift twice. On the third time the man got onto the lift and told the computer to take him to a deck that he knew would be the least populated within the saucer section. He soon steped out and picked up what he was doing before except at a faster pace almost jogging. Using the Turbolift as a starting point each timw he passed the door he spead up in incraments until he was full blown sprinting around the circumfrence if the deck.

Pilar had been meaning to catch up with Dr. Phylox, ever since he joined the crew. It had been a while since she participated in any strenuous exercise herself, however, when happened upon the designated deck where the doctor was exercising, she knew it would be a good time to connect with him. She spotted Dr. Phylox in the distance, sprinting around the circumference of the deck.

Each time that Phylox had passed by the Commander he gave a wave. He had noticed that someone was there, but he didn’t pay too much attention to the who that someone was. Or that he passed the same person twice.

Pilar approached with a friendly smile, waiting for the right moment to join him. As he passed by for the third time, she picked up her pace and matched his speed. “Hey there, Dr. Phylox! Quite the workout you’ve got going on,” she called out, trying to keep up with his fast stride. At least if she passed out, she was with a doctor who could resuscitate her.

When she began to run with him at first he didn’t notice. At least not for a quarter of the lap. Once he did however, he had slowed his pace so that she could catch him, and allow for them to more or less jog at a decent pace, one that with regular exercise was good for chatting while jogging. He gave a smile to her. “Hello there Commander, I didn’t mean to cause any disturbances if that’s why your here… I was just getting a bit of routine exercise, and both the holodecks were all full if you could imagine that. I didn’t want to intrude and Medbay has been so quiet recently that I figured I could take the time to just go for a run. As much of a run as one can on a starship anyway.” He chuckled softly.
