Aaron took a sip of his coffee and said : “Don’t worry for that, I can relate. I was often late at the Academy. But when you’ll get used to the shift and the crew, that’ll get better.”
“I appreciate it.” George said, although he was still a little nervous.

Going back in his seat, he says : “So, do you know why are we doing this meeting ?”

“That I do. Reporting for duty as ordered, sir.” George got up and asked the replicator for a glass of ice cold water, then he sat back down. He sounded Texan.

“Why, yes, but I also wanted to see if you would be ready for the field and to see what are your motivations.” Aaron took a pause to let the cadet thinks about what he said and continued
“A lot of people are coming to Starfleet without realizing why they want to enlist. And although it is more the job of the counselor, it’s still interesting to ask.” Aaron leaned a bit forward and looked George in the eyes. “So… Why did you want in Starfleet ?”
