Aaron was looking through the only window in the room before the cadet entered. He turned his head with a surprised face since the cadet didn’t announce himself, but he immediately guessed the cadet ran not be late, and the realization made him smile.

“I guess you wouldn’t mind sitting for a minute ? Lieutenant Williams, CSO”, said the man while offering his hand.

George took his hand. “I’m sorry I’m late, sir.” He readjusted his uniform again and sat down in a chair.

He still felt as though he looked bad for being late, even if he was only 5 minutes late. His instructors at the academy had always been harsh on him when he was even a little late, and so he felt he should never be late at all.
