Henry stood in front of the doors to Holodeck One. Not the first time, probably won’t be the last, he thought. Indeed, he’d found the Holodeck to be a great training tool in his time on the Challenger. Even if he couldn’t bring himself to do the programming himself, there always seemed to be an engineer willing to do a senior officer a favor. It was, of course, totally unrelated if those engineers were given a Bridge assignment the following night.

Regardless of how the programs came to be, they were there, and, in Henry’s opinion, they were awesome. So it was that he entered the Holodeck and looked around at the now-empty room, preparing for the training exercise to come. Oh! The trainees, he remembered, mentally slapping his forehead. Physically, of course, he slapped his commbadge. =^= Rodier to Cadet Lenwa and NEs Clancy and Trow, report to Holodeck One. =^=

OOC: Hey Allen! Just a couple explanations in case you haven’t seen the nomenclature just yet: this symbol –> =^= and similar things indicate a comm or computer transmission. Also, “NE” refers to a Nameless Ensign - essentially an NPC created to help us out in sims.

Taya found her assigned quarters and got settled in, though she didn’t really need to do much of that. She had one travel bag that contained mostly personal keepsakes and pictures from Betazed and from the academy. Still, it was home for this time in her life and she was already thinking of ways to decorate. She hadn’t met her roommate yet, so she hoped they would agree on how to make their cabin a nicer place to live.

When the call from Lieutenant Rodier came, ordering her to report to holodeck one, she couldn’t get there fast enough. She was so excited, she forgot to acknowledge him. Stepping inside and out of breath, she jumped to attention once again.

“Cadet Lenwa reporting as ordered, sir!”
