Henry stood in front of the doors to Holodeck One. Not the first time, probably won’t be the last, he thought. Indeed, he’d found the Holodeck to be a great training tool in his time on the Challenger. Even if he couldn’t bring himself to do the programming himself, there always seemed to be an engineer willing to do a senior officer a favor. It was, of course, totally unrelated if those engineers were given a Bridge assignment the following night.

Regardless of how the programs came to be, they were there, and, in Henry’s opinion, they were awesome. So it was that he entered the Holodeck and looked around at the now-empty room, preparing for the training exercise to come. Oh! The trainees, he remembered, mentally slapping his forehead.
