Ok, one last promotion. I was going to leave it for someone else to do, but decided I wanted to do it myself.
Dustin Bukowski has done a stellar job as vice president & FComm 5. I know, some of you don’t like how he’s handled certain things, but it is my opinion that everything he’s done for Star-Fleet has been done with the best of intentions and for the right reasons. My one regret is that I wasn’t able to make him a more diplomatic veep. <grin>
Regardless, he’s done an outstanding job as FComm 5 (I speak as his subordinate and his boss), and has worked closely with me these past 8+ months on STF policy. Knowing that I picked someone with the initiative to actually act rather than just passively wait for STF to pass him by… well, it confirms for me that I made the right choice.
For service above and beyond the call of duty, I am happy to promote (past me even… grrr) <grin> Dustin Bukowski to the rank of Fleet Captain. Congratulations Dustin.
