Due to real life, Lou Gasco resigned from STF, leaving a void in the CO Curie position among others. Niki has selected Jody Romero, most recently XO Brandywine to fill that void. This pleases me to no end as I’ve known Jody for some time, had him on Concorde when I was XO, made him my 2O when I made Captain, and recommended him for XO when Brandywine had an opening.
Therefore, effective immediately (since he’s already filling the role), I do promote Jody Romero to the rank of Captain and assign him as Commanding Officer of the USS Curie in Fleet 7.
Congrats Jody, you’ll do us proud.
