Throughout this term, we have needed help many times. Help doing the work that keeps the lights on and the zoo animals fed. There is one person who never refused a request for help when we needed her. There is one person who took on heavy burdens of responsibility and did not once complain. There is one person who, in the search to fill any position was always on the shortlist.
She worked hard from the positions she holds and always toward the goal of making this club, which we all so enjoy, sustainable and enduring. She is a good CO, a good member of the cabinet, a reliable advisor, and always trustworthy.
With all of that in mind, it is my honor and privilege to promote Jennifer Ward from Fleet Captain to Commodore. Congratulations Jenn. This was earned, not bestowed.
