This is a tough one, but I wouldn’t be writing it if I didn’t think it needed to be written. Let me start off by saying that I rightly take the blame for this, and that Lou gave it his best try and attempted to work with what he had. It was an error in judgement on my part to appoint Lou as GMDir when he wasn’t ready to take on the job. I’m not sorry I did so, because he’s a good, talented guy and I wanted to give him a chance. However, I also recognize that the best thing to do in a situation like this is admit when you’ve made a mistake and work to correct it.
Therefore, Lou Gasco is released from the position of GMDir and will be replaced by Jeremy Friedman effective immediately.
