And unfortunately it is time for one of our stories to come to the end. After Jim resigned, Starbase Magellan was left in a tough spot. I know the Infinite Fleet team worked hard to put together a plan, but after much debate, I believe it is now time to close the chapter on Starbase Magellan.
Starbase Magellan is hereby decommissioned. TECH is directed, in consultation with the Fleet Commander, to depublish the simm within the next 30 days. I ask the Personnel Department to help in transferring any characters to other ships, for those players who wish it.
Finally, I wish to thank all of the crew who have been a part of the simm over the years, for helping to create the story.
