For this upcoming election season, I hereby appoint Joe P as the Election Coordinator and Steve Johnson as the Emergency Election Coordinator.

The last time these positions were appointed, President Daniel Lerner added an explanatory note to his edict, suggesting that the EC and EEC should generally be chosen from EGO or TECH, because such selections do not reduce the number of eligible members to run for President. While there is a certain amount of sense to that reasoning, I have decided to reject it this time specifically because I intend to make myself not eligible to run for re-election. I stated up front during my campaign that I would not run for re-election; this is how I’m enforcing my own compliance with that promise. This note is merely explanatory and is also not intended to bind any future President to any course of action in the future.
