The application process for the remaining QDir positions was very successful. I had two excellent applications for the position of Engineering Director, and many for Academy Commandant. The decisions were extremely tough, and came down to very minor things due to the quality of all applicants. I’d like to thank everyone who applied for their time and effort, and know that you made the decision very hard! That’s a good thing, and I hope you all remain active with bringing your ideas forward and applying to department positions.
With that said, Katherine Dedul is announced as Academy Commandant, and Andrew Robinson is announced as Engineering Director. Congratulations you two! Please have your assistants named before the end of the month.
