Despite attempts to contact her regarding her status, Krystelle Bromilow has been unreachable since the end of her LOA on August 30. With the ship’s best interests in mind, Amanda, Jack, and I have decided that the Bonaventure is in need of a new CO.
The member that immediately came to mind was demoted at the end of last term for his actions regarding the Paladin’s decommissioning. Since then, he took the initiative to offer apologies where appropriate. After Krys’ sudden LOA, he took over the Bonaventure as acting CO and not only sustained Krys’ work, but improved upon it. Bret has maintained a roster full of skilled role-players and kept the ship a healthy and enjoyable environment, all while running a highly-complimented mission (and planning more to ensure the Bonnie’s continued success).
It sets an uncomfortable precedent to rescind a demotion edict; however, Bret has made an active effort to make amends for his earlier actions and followed through by keeping a ship alive and healthy through troubled times. It is with this in mind that Herr #30 is hereby rescinded.
M. Bret Godfrey is hereby promoted to the rank of Captain and assigned as CO of the SS Bonaventure.
