Cabinet, please have your assistants appointed by Dec 30. I’m giving a bit more time since the holidays are going to interfere soon enough.
Also, speaking of the holidays, please let this serve as notice that the AWOL policy for Cabinet officers is hereby relaxed until Jan 5. While I would appreciate it if you could declare a LOA and let us know you’ll be gone, I won’t be AWOLing anyone from their Cabinet position during this time period. It’s up to each of you if you’d like to have a similar policy at fleet/ship/department level.
