“Never get drunk unless you’re willing to pay for it - the next day.”
Those of you who are observant will have noticed that when I awarded Tom Hillman his commendation, I stated he was a Fleet Captain. Turns out, I was wrong, and he’s only a Captain. In a way, this underlines the calm and collected manner in how Tom has supported the club over the past couple of terms, to the point where I genuinely believed he was at a higher rank.
In addition to what I highlighted in his commendation, he has proven an invaluable, dedicated club member, providing sound advice and guidance over the past couple of years. Therefore, without further ado, I hereby promote Tok Hillman to the rank of Fleet Captain, with all the rights and privileges of that rank.
Congrats Tom!
