Evening all,
Over the last couple of terms, I have argued that we’re all here to have fun, and that RL takes priority over the club. There are, however, key leadership roles in the club where there is a balance to be struck between being supportive to the individual and ensuring the best roleplaying environment for club members. The most important thing to achieve this is communication; absences can usually be managed on a temporary basis, as long as they’re known about.
Over the past 4 weeks, I have contacted Sam Haynes to discuss fleet reports, objectives, and opening the application process for CO of the Leviathan, but with no response. The last we spoke was on 13 May. Subsequently, Sam has not posted in the club for 18 days; it’s therefore with regret that I have to declare her AWOL. Whilst I hope that Sam will find time to return to STF, I need to take action to ensure the best roleplaying environment for the club members.
I am pleased, however, to announce that Amdirgol S is appointed as Fleet Commander, The Pioneer Fleet, with immediate effect.
