A few days back, William Kappler posted a note (http://www.star-fleet.com/webb/node/356252) which I consider to not only be non-constructive, but also effectively accusing members of government of being deceitful. The complaints I have had about the post describe it as ‘trolling’ which is not a word a like to use with STF, as I want to believe that every member of the club is above such an act.
I’ve been mulling this over for the past couple of days, having read the post in question a couple of evenings back and, as far as I can see it, I have two options. The first one being what I consider the right thing to do, and the second one being what I consider to be the easiest thing to do. I am not one to shy away from the right thing to do, even if it puts a few noses out of place. Hopefully, however, those involved will make that choice as easy as me just ignoring this matter.
Therefore, William Kappler is banned from all ‘government’ boards (i.e. command, departments and MAC) for a period of 14 days (until 5 Mar 11). William, use this time to think through what you have said in Command lately and, in particular, how it is detrimental to cohesiveness of the club.
