Edict #18
As, no doubt, most of you are aware, my last edict banned Edgar Cramer ‘for recruiting from STF, and also trying to convince other members to do so’. At that time, a fair few people protested about it, albeit in a disruptive fashion.
However, Eddie emailed me after the ban in order to appeal against it. A couple of days back, I was sent more detailed evidence showing that my original conclusion was not actually sound. Having reviewed this evidence, and taken into account the way which Eddie handled has himself during the period from his ban up until now (in a calm and collective manner), I believe I was wrong in banning him. Whilst I had reviewed the evidence given to me before the ban, I erred; I did not ask for Eddie’s side of the story, and for that, I apologise.
Therefore Edict #17 is hereby rescinded. Whilst Eddie had recruited those in STF who were his friends, he had not violated the Terms of Service. I would hope each of his CO’s will allow him to resume his old positions.
Once again I apologise for not ascertaining Eddie’s side of the story. Unfortunately mistakes cannot be undone, but I do hope to learn from this.
