And those are just the official things he does for us. In the six years I have been here Joe is also a source of honest criticism, advice, and friendship. All three he will give freely and willingly if you are willing to listen. He has been a Commanding Officer the entire time I have been on the site, as far as I know the Europa has never had a different Captain. That by itself is an Amazing achievement, Commanding Officer burn out is a real thing and it has gotten many people, myself included. Honestly what I am about to do is really only a partial payment on the debt of gratitude I feel for the advice that I have gotten over the years.
For all your years of Service, I present JoeP with this nice new Hat Rack, so he can put all those hats in one place and change them easier when I need him to.
