With the resignation of her Captain there was a hole in the Command staff of the 8th or Infinite Fleet. The USS Viking is a unique ship, she has dark stories, some would say inspired stories. After long deliberation of their options, it was decided to go with a new Captain, a new set of eyes and eager hands on the controls. Fleet Command has selected Amanda Mercer to take Command of the USS Viking. This comes with a Promotion to Captain, we have hidden your new pips somewhere in the Thuderdome, good luck.
