This one has taken some contemplation on my behalf, mostly because contrary to what some folks think, I’m not really all that bad and nor do I have it in for Alex.
But the fact of the matter still remains, a member in high standing in the club, a Fleet Captain to be precise, has acted not for the first time, in a manner that is not appropriate for his position.
But not following his own departments mandates and OGRE is the final straw. Combined with the attempted enticement of cadets from the training ships prior to graduation, language over email to cabinet members discussing STF business, not to mention his behaviour to a CO under his care whilst AFComm of fleet 7, and his disregard for standing edicitified policy show this is not an isolated incident and should not be treated as such.
Therefore, based on these actions, I’m demoting Alex Verdusco to the rank of Captain. It’s not a decision I take lightly, nor one I enjoy doing.
