On 10 October 2004, Drew McLoughlin informed the Personnel Department that he had a second user account that should be deleted. He claimed that he didn’t know it was against the rules and expressed his apologies for creating the second account, which was removed.
However, it has since come to light that Drew did know that having multiple accounts was against club policy. On 3 September, he put in a request for a second User ID to be in the Academy and was told by the Personnel Department this was against club policy. On 7 September, however, he went ahead and applied for a new account under a new name, which he had just been told was against the rules.
So in light of this new information Drew McLoughlin is hereby banned for a period of 45 days ending on 23 December 2004.
Also it has come to my attention that when Drew applied to join one ship that he mentioned the fact that he was in the Academy. I want to make sure that every Captain is informed that while Drew was in the Academy, under an illegal second account, he did not graduate.
