In light of Nathan Miller’s resignation from FComm-5/Titania CO, two appointments are necessary.
For the FComm-5, I am choosing to elevate the current AFComm-5, Deanne Morgan, to that command.
For Titania CO, I am promoting Jeremy Friedman to the rank of Captain, and appointing him as the new CO of the Titania
Because this is so close to an election, I ought to remind everyone that, while CO’s are immune from elections (they can generally be removed, at least in practice, only for actual breaking of the rules, or AWOLness), Cabinet officers are not so fortunate. Whomever wins the election will be entitled to replace any or all of the FComms and Cabinet Directors upon assuming office. I would have prefered not to have to make any cabinet changes at all, at this point during my term, but conditions left me no alternative.
