Posted by Mike Bourdaa (STF President). I am announcing several moves here.. as bad a day as it’s been for me, it’s time to move forward on a few items.
Seamus Hughes is named CO of the USS Trinitron, provisionally. (There may be a change here, but for now, this is it.) With this comes a reinstatement of his rank of Captain.
Bill Gunty is promoted to Captain, and named official CO of SB 202. John Storer recently announced his resignation from that position because of IRL time constraints.
Jim Armstrong is named Academy Commandant, effective immediately. Again, this follows the resignation of John Storer due to IRL stuff.
And as if that wasn’t enough, Andrew Zbikowski is named CO of the USS Azimov, a new Darwin class vessel, commissioned in the Fourth Fleet.
This leaves two open spots in command level positions: Today, Chris Healey, the Internet Director and CO of the Columbus, announced his resignation. I will be considering the replacements for these positions over the weekend.
