For my last edict this term I wanted to do a promotion I think has over time become well deserved, and perhaps this person in the past few years has been overlooked in one way or another. Coming into this term I did my best to watch those in various roles for their contributions to the club, this person has not only this term given much hard work within the club’s personnel department but also elsewhere in ten forward and indirectly through the use and inclusion of the club’s Star Trek Online fleet. He’s almost always around within irc to help out, was quick to reply to new members questions in applications, and from at least two of those new members I actually got a raving email review about ‘how friendly our personnel department is in engaging new members who apply’
That person is as you may or not have guessed is one and only Salmon, also known as his real life alter ego Matthew Kleinmann! Matt for your hard work this term and over the past two terms I’ve seen you work involved in the club. It is my honor to promote you to the club rank of Commodore with all the entitlements there given. Thank you for your service and I hope to see your hard work continue in the future!
