The tall security officer looked at the top of the device “You knooow… I could lift you so you can reach the top” She gave the ensign a predatory grin.

“thank you Lina that would be very helpful to help me finish my observation of th unit and to repair whats wrong up there.” Hunter Snow said with a kind smile.

Lina squatted next to the device, lowered her rifle to the ground and put her hands together “How much you weigh, around 90 Kilo’s?” She estimated as she scanned the man “This shouldn’t be too hard.”

“I believe so Lina.” Hunter said with a small smile. As he waited for her to be ready to lift him up. He felt bad that she had to do this for him.

Lina lifted the man with relative ease. She had to have the upper body strength to drag people twice her size to even become a MACO, not very difficult for someone of her size and musculature “You know next time I think we should just bring some stilts with us” She said humorously.

Once Hunter got lifted up by the strong former MACO now turned security officer, he would be able to easily steady himself on her shoulders. From there peering into the left corner service housing he could at first seem that his visual inspections matched his scans. Then he would notice something out of place, in this case there was a small 3 by 3 inch square cube attached to the upper diagnostics housing of the comm/local sensor/wild life projector system. Checking his tricorder again he would find that scans showed nothing was amiss, yet his eyes couldnt be lying to him since he saw it. Maybe the out of place device was putting out some kind of dampening or sensor masking field?

Once he had done this he would indeed find the signs of a sensor masking system, unfortunately the device was no clearer in what it was doing other then interfacing and presumably preventing the repairs they had made to the comm/sensor/wild life projector systems from operating correctly. Maybe if he removed it? But how? And what might happen if he did?
