T’Ral was in his office, when NE Curious came and asked him “Sir, someone from Starbase 214 reported that our ship was pinging on a starbase. It shouldn’t be. After all, I thought this was supposed to be a covert operation?” he asked. T’Ral looked toward him and simply asked “and is anybody on Starbase 214 read in on the Trenton’s mission?” T’ral asked the officer.

“No sir, in fact - they have no business with this information,” the Ensign responded, worridly. T’ral thought about the issue, and then tapped his commbadge.

Starbase 214 was many lightyears away, and not even the starbase that the Trenton was based at. T’Ral’s logic told him there was no reason for them to have classified information on this vessel.
