Hey everyone!

How are you guys doing?

Over the past few months I’ve been struggling with my health, work and school. Unfortunately, that means less time (and energy) for writing on STF. After lots of thinking, I’ve come to the conclusion that it would be best for me to step down. That way, someone who has the drive can come and take my place, which makes it better for each of you– who have worked hard to keep this ship alive.
It’s been so much fun getting to know each of your characters! I can’t say there is a single sim that I’ve done here that I didn’t like. As for characters.. there have been some unique personalities. Lol

Seeing as the Swift is your ship, I’m going to leave the option of the next step up to you.

Option One:
If you know someone who would like to take on the role of captain, or you would, please comment your name below or send their name via email (so I can ask them before we assume anything). Once everyone who wants the center chair has put their name in the hat, then you guys can vote on who the next skipper will be.

Option Two:
The Swift is an old lady (she’s been here longer than I have!) and she’s gone around the block her fair share of times. Perhaps it is time she finds a new resting point with the other ships who used to run free with the experiments. Should you believe the Swift should be decomissioned, please state so in response to this note. If the majority of the crew is in favour of this option, I will speak to the SOX regarding Swift’s decomission.

I am so sorry about my absence these last few months. Thank you all for being such wonderful members of this ship!

Trinity, thank you for all of your hard work that you put into the Swift. She is what she is right now because of you and the great crew that currently resides on her.

I, too, will be stepping away from the Swift. I have taken on a lot more responsibility with the Administration of the club as a whole, and I don’t want to let my participation lag. I love writing Major Vonn, and hope you all have enjoyed his presence on the ship. But as I too will stepping away, I will abstain from voting in this process. I will, however, do whatever I can to support the crew’s decision on how to proceed.

Trinity, James, Thank you both for making this ship a wonder to sim with I have enjoyed writing our story with both of you and wish you both a fulfilling and fun future in simming and hope to sim with you both on further projects. I am sad to see you go from the Swift.
