Its essentially a pirate ship. The ship is an old Steamrunner “borrowed” from Starfleet. The CO of the ship believes that Starfleet “owes them” and has assembled the crew to get back at Starfleet and just overall harass them.

Katy as we discussed I wouldnt mind loaning you that ship spec if you wanted too, probably would be a better fit to make sense ICly then a stolen ship starfleet probably would run down pretty quick. Just a thought.
