After many weeks the new Warp Core was here. Finally they can power up the whole Shipyard. Mike looked happy it has been a few weeks since the unfortunate incident where one of his Engineers were killed in explosion. He took it upon himself to contact his family they were very understanding and they knew how hard it was for me to tell them. On top of that turns out there was a xindi reptilian that was going around stealing the rare metals from the EPS conduit. He was arrested by star-fleet security when he try to sell the medals. After a long time of going through all the conduits and replacing them with new ones the station was running what considered full power. That is until now warp energy whole lot more powerful than a power core or solar power. Mike tapped his com badge =/\= CE to engineering team get ready to receive the new warp core =/\=.

“Why are we even getting a warp core,” the engineer groused, “Fusion power generator would make much more sense. Warp cores are for ships, power generators are for stations.” He looked around, “I swear I don’t know why they sent me.”

With that he stepped off towards the hole in the tower where the power generation unit goes. =/\= Woods to CE. We await your order.=/\=

The doors to the turbolift slid open and the Captain stepped out. “How’s it going, Woods? You ready for this?” he asked as he looked up at the massive housing area the core would be placed in in a (hopefully) uneventful install.

Woods snapped to attention before relaxing slightly when addressed informally, “Yeah, it will settle in fine. Should provide more than enough energy for the station.” He looks around, “Where did the Chief go? Probably up top to guide the dropping of the core.” He looked down into the pit, “The antimatter injectors will need to be realigned but that shouldn’t be too hard.”

Without changing where he was looking, he slapped a hand onto Woods’s shoulder. “Funny you should say that, Acting Chief Engineer Woods.” he said with a bit of a grin.
