Kestiana frowned unsure she liked the idea of ending a young officer’s life so easily, but she was the only one without family. She didn’t wish to make this decision on her own, that is why there was a captain. So the young XO hit her combadge and said, =/\= Sahal to Sideman, could I have you in Sickbay at your earliest convenience, =/\=

A few minutes later the Captain arrived as requested. “Commander, this is a lot going on so this better be good.”

CO

Kes turned to look at the Captain. “Meet our new CEO Captain, Mr. Baleer, he needs a host body and the only body available without family and is technically a vegetable, needs command authorization to pull the plug. I am having a bit of a problem deciding if I should pull said plug and allow the woman to pass on giving Mr. Baleer the much-needed body,” Kes explained to the Captain.

Kestiana Sahal, XO

Looking at the XO, he responded:

“I guess this qualifes as ‘very good.”

Thiniking for a minute he inquired,

“What does the medical staff say?”

Baleer ambled over.

“I can take the flesh living or dead, though if the flesh is still alive when I take it it will confer some minor advantages for me.” Baleer explained in his currently broken voice.

Kestiana Sahal, waited to see how the Captain respond to this information.

Sahal, XO

Commander, I will defer to the medical staff; if we are going to lose this person anyway, I would rather save our Chief. Thus, I give my authorization for our CE to proceed.

OOC: Sorry I was gone a couple of

days longer than I thought I would be.

Baleer smiled as the damaged body he was currently inhabiting slowly crumbled away into a large pile of dust. Moments later the biobed’s monitor started beeping. The EMH checked the system.

“This shouldn’t be. I’m reading a steady increase in neural activity.” the EMH stated.

OOC: Which bio-bed is beeping the one with Baleer on it or the brain dead woman?

OOC: Baleer wasn’t on a biobed so the one with the brain dead woman.

Sahal turned to look at the woman on the bio-bed where the woman who the EMH had recently said was brain dead and watched waiting to see what happened.

Moments later the woman’s eyes opened. They were the same burning red of Baleer’s before he had fallen into dust. He took a deep breath and sat up.

“Now comes the fun part.” she said in a voice deeper than it should have been.

The sound of cloth ripping came shortly after as her size began to rapidly increase. Her skin darkened and her face took on K9 features. Her muscles rippled beneath her skin that looked stretched and ready to rip. It was a transformation that would have made any horror effects tech proud as the body of the woman changed and became the hulking naked and obscenely male form of Baleer crouching next to the biobed.

He looked up at the officers.

“Baleer reporting for duty.” he said with a long fanged grin.

OOC: Sorry I missed this.

“Welcome aboard” came the reply from the Commanding Officer.

“We will need you in operations in one hour, Chief…again…welcome!”

Kestiana Sahal could do no more than watch, eyes wide with fascination not horror at the transformation. She was an avid horror flick fan of the old 21st centry movies and this was reminiscent of a werewolf transfermation really. However, the young XO couldn’t help her jaw dropping slightly at the complete change. Closing her mouth and clearing her throat. “Um yes welcome aboard Chief.” Kestiana said and moved to leave sickbay so he could get his physical out of the way in private.

Baleer looked at the EMH and snorted.

“Don’t worry Commander,” he said looking at Kestiana, she could feel the depth of his voice vibrate in her chest “The EMH won’t know what to do with me. A physical, if you still want me to have one, will have to wait till we get a live doc on board.”

As he spoke, he gathered up the ruined uniform and fashioned it into a crude loincloth.

“I understand you flesh people have taboos against nudity.”

Kestiana stopped to look back at the new CE of the station, “Your right we do have rules against nudity.” She said though she couldn’t help the slight smirk that came to her face.

Sahal, XO

Giving a slight smile the Sideman replied, “Yes, we do like our officers to have clothes on.”

Baleer laughed deeply.

“Then I shall go and replicate myself a more robust loincloth.” he said.

Kestiana smirked at this as she exited sickbay. She couldn’t wait to see how the new CE Baleer fit into the rest of the crew.
