The transporter beam completed its cycle and the medium built man with back hair and blue eyes appeared. He was in civilian clothes and several bags was beside him. Ensign Riker MacMoragh was at the transporter controls and he responded, “Hello, sir, welcome to Serenity station.”

A minute went by when Sideman spoke,

“Greetings, I am Commander Michael Sideman and I am reporting for duty…er I guess to the station since I am the commanding officer. It is my understanding that several other key officers will be arriving soon as well, correct?” asked the Commander.

“Yes, sir…my understanding is that all of the transfers will be completed soon. I also have orders for your, Mr. MacMoragh.”

“You do sir?” came the reply.

“I do and I will hand you the pad and let you read them when you are ready. In any event, can you get someone to show me to my quarters? I need to get a uniform on.”

Putting his hand out pointing in a direction the response came, “Yes, sir…please follow me.”
