Laassel was finally alone for the moment and in his happy place. The kitchen. With it having been a recent renovation everything looked to be in order. Whoever decided to arrange things the way they had, had no idea how a chef or baker wanted things arranged however. Counter wasn’t close to the stove and the oven was small. Though there was a walk-in freezer unit that could keep various things for longer than leaving them out. But a stasis unit might have worked better for that, though the power consumption would have been a lot heavier.

Caid knocked cautiously outside the kitchen. They’d changed from their flashy outfit to a more comfortable ensemble before leaving the relative safety of their quarters. “May I come in?”
