USS Dauntless
Main Sim Intro: Bridge
It was an ordinary shift on bridge, as the Dauntless strolled her way through space. With many crew members away for the holiday’s, things had been a little more lax than usual on the ship. All the staff were enjoying the time in between missions to relax a little. The Captain and XO were both indesposed leaving the 2O, Commander Jason Argan in charge of the ship for the intrim. He sat in the Captains chair, one elbow resting on the chairs arm and his head rested on his fist as he stared at the viewscreen of all the stars they were passing by.
“Sir,” a young NE piped up through the quiet of bridge, “We’re recieving an incomming transmission from StarFleet.”
Jason straightened up. This was something different on this otherwise boring shift. “On screen,” he ordered, squaring his shoulders a little more to make himself look more in charge.
The NE nodded, and a short moment later the formidable face of the female Admiral Harrington appeared on the view scree. Jason pushed himself out of the chair and stood up. “Admiral, I am Commander Jason Argan, 2nd Officer of the U.S.S Dauntless our-“
=^= Commander Argan, I know who you are, =^= the Admiral interrupted, =^= I am aware of the Dauntless status. =^=
Argan pursed his lips, his skin tightening a little around the eyes “Than what may we do for you?”
=^= I have sent co-ordinates to your ship. One of my ships, the U.S.S Apache has not made any contact in over a week, nor have they responded to any of our transmissions. I want the Dauntless to go to there and find out why. =^=
“Sir, the co-ordinates have just been recieved. Plot a course?”
“Hold that.” Jason said quickly, “The Captain must-“
Again the Admiral cut him off, =^= The Captain already knows. You have full permission to go on this mission. I expect results =^= Once again the view screen returned back to normal.
“Sir, the Admiral has terminated the transmission,”
Jason turned around”Understood, NE Cole looks like we have no choice, plot a course. NE Sarr inform all senior staff to meet me in the briefing room.”
“Aye sir,”
Comm. Argan, aka GM
