“We can rotate positions as we feel necessary if things get too out of control and someone else excels in that particular field. I know we’re going to need a great CTO for this and I honestly couldn’t think of anyone better in such a position, so Commander Saunders, please take Tactical.” He changed his attention to the somewhat flustered Vulcan, “Commander T’Pon, being a JAG I do believe that comes with a certain level of leadership and trust involved with such a position along with a determined and focused mindset. I’d like you to be the XO for this sim.”

OOC: Not too sure if the following are participating? Hopefully we can have everyone!
IC: He scanned around the room for the Chief Engineer who he thought he heard a bit earlier. “Lieutenant Argeneau? If you could, please take Engineering. I believe that only leaves one other … Major Crystal, I do understand you mostly deal with Starfleet Marine Corps, but would you like to deal with Security? I do hope we can avoid being boarded, but they’ll definitely be in for a surprise with SFMC dealing with our interior.” He then scanned around the room to ensure that everyone was set, this was going to be a challenge he was sure no one would forget, even himself. He only then took his seat in the Captain’s chair. “I need a status report and ready all stations. Let’s hope we don’t start off with any surprises.”

Lt. K’Vexx understood the conditions for the sim and had no problem with Major Crystal taking his normal position at the Security station. He looked expectantly towards the Acting Captain and asked, “Would you like me to take the conn, sir? I have some experience with piloting and I have looked over the specs for the Dauntless.”

The Lt Cmdr. walked to the tactical station as he said “Yes sir.” He worked some of the controls to make sure everything was in working order. “Tactical is operating in optimal condition.”

As T’Pon entered the simulation, she sat down next to the captain in her designated role as executive officer. Taking some initiative, she decided to check some things.

“Tactical Chief, please examine the weapons and maneuvering capabilities of the ship. Report them to me and the captain when done,” she said, as dryly as a Vulcan would.

T’Pon, Sim XO

“Understood sir, the results should take about 5 minutes.” the tactical officer said.

“That would be ma’am, tactical chief…” T’Pon said, clearly annoyed at being called a man.

“Yes Ma’am, sorry Ma’am”

“Ma’am, all weapons are in working order and accounted for and the maneuvering capabilities are at maximum efficiency.” The Lt. Cmdr. said.

OOC: Ahhh I forgot about you K’Vexx D: didn’t see you in the initial posting for some reason x_x and no worries, I’m no stranger to working weekends myself.

IC: Max extended his arm towards the station, “Lieutenant K’Vexx, please do. I have faith that we’ll be in good hands with you at the conn. If you could, double check all flight procedures and let’s give her a go.” He raised an eyebrow for a moment and glanced down to one of the remaining stations. “Do we have anyone set at the Science station or anyone familiar with the sensor array? If you could, bring up our currently location on the main holo display. I want to have a good idea on where were are so that we can prepare.” Having that display up would be critical to their surroundings as it gave their location, and anything in relation to that. Especially handy when it came to the battlefield.
