Crystal sent out an invitation to both the new COS and CTO to join her for a Meeting in the conference room on the marine deck. She and snowflake simply waght Ed in the room for the COS and CTO.

Saunders had just arrived in the conference room at the time specified. “Lt. Cmdr. Saunders reporting.” He said as he took a seat near Crystal and noticed Snowflake nearby.

“ I’m glad you could make it now we are just waiting for the COS to arrive” crystal said with a smile. Snowflake walked up to Saunders and sniffed him then sat and pawed at him. “ he would like your attention” crystal said with a smile.

“It’s nice to see you too Snowflake.” Saunders said to the cat as he petted him and shook his paw. Turning to Crystal, Saunders asked, “What is this meeting all about?” Fil then turned back to the cat and said, “I like you too Snowflake. You’re a good cat.”

Snowflake purred. “ we are responsible for the security of the ship first I would like to get to know both you and the COS as your are new but I would also like for are departments to be able to work together” she said with a smile. Snowflake meowed at him happily.

“Your right Snowflake. So what do you want to know about me and my department.” Saunders said as he petted Snowflake.

“ you know he will expect that kind of attention most times you see him” crystal said giggling she was glad that there was someone else on the ship other then the captain who was willing to give snowflake some attention the cat was very use to it. “ anyway I would like to look at how are department can work together. I would assume that tactical job is mostly battle strategy? What else does your department do I’ll admit marines usually keep to themselves however I feel it would be better to take my command in a different direction for the better protection of the ship and are people. I think all there of us can learn from echother just as are subordinates will all be able to benefit from that” Crystal said with a smile.

“Well in addition to strategy, we also use specific weapons, depending on the situation.” Saunders said. Saunders petted the cat as he talked to Crystal. “But if the three of us are involved with a single mission, who will be in charge? Anything you need from me or my department I will gladly help you with that.”

“ I believe that may depend on the nature of the mission. There are strength to each of us. My Marine’s are split into teams and are trying for special forces work as I continue to uses the training I revived when I was special forces snowflake and I usually accompany which ever team we send on a mission. How is your department organized” she asked.

“We have a team who goes over the plans, and another team who scouts the terrain and makes the recommendations. Hi Snowflake.” Saunders said as the cat kept wanted to be petting. “What about your teams?” Saunders asked.

“ snowflake go lay down please” she said seeing that he was becoming a distraction. The cat returned to crystals side and layer down. “He is not technically working at the moment when he is working he’s all business” she said with a smile. “ I have one that dose recon and scouts ahead. Another is my main response team. Team three is my covert mission and exstentions team they get split between the other teams team went the need arises. There is a fourth witch is where I assigned new members until they have been trained for one of the first three teams. I could see are scout teams working well together. My team leads and I usually work on the mission plans and time tables. Your team are not usually in direct combat then? ” Crystal said.

“No sir. Security or the Marines usually does the combat.” Saunders said. “My team just makes sure no surprises arises. But we are armed at all times.”

Crystal nodded her understanding “ so your team analyze data correct” she asked.

“Yes sir, that is correct. The data is analyzed and submitted to the combat teams involved. Our presence there is only to make sure that the plans are received and obeyed to the letter.”

“ that leaves two questions form me can we trust you and what can we do to help you” she said

“Yes you can trust me, Major. Just make sure your teams don’t question the data I give them. If there is the slightest misinterpretation of those orders I won’t be held responsible.” Saunders said, being almost annoyed by that question.

Crystal noticed his announce. “ please forgive me, iv never lost a marine I don’t intent to start now. Tell me Lt commander what kind of person are you” crystal said with a smile.

“I take my position very serious, I’m a person who gets things done. You want a mission to succeed, I’m your man.” Saunders said. “I’m a person who could be nice one minute, and a force to be reckoned with the next. What kind of person are you, Major?”

“ I take my post seriously as well, one mistake will can lead to loosening lives. I take care of my Marines and the people onboard this ship. My door will always be open should someone need help. I’m only dangerous when I have to be” she said. She thought for a moment. “ would you be interested in some combat training” she asked.

“My pleasure, I’m up for anything you have for me. What kind of training do you have in mind?” Saunders asked. “Do you think you have what it takes?”

“ how about a game of capture the flag on the holoadec you departments best verses my best. Let’s see what you all can do. We will of course use simulated weapons against each other none of that tag nonsense we aren’t children.” she said with a smile.
