As if the cargobay were empty, all but the unmarked crates making a home in its hollow heart, the air was eerily still. Sound bounced from the walls, the faint return of their echo meeting Crystal’s sensitive ears. The Admiral gave no response. Either he was a man whose evasive prowess was incredible, or something was very wrong.
While Crystal’s team investigated the cargo, they would discover each of the boxes was packaged the same. They were large, metallic crates sealed from the inside, a smal pinpad attached to the left corner of the foremost face. Aside from a few notches in the metal, there were no other details that indicated the contents of the crates. One could speculate, based on the material used to house the cargo, it wasn’t a gift for the Bethrisans.

“ fan out and find the admiral all teams” crystal called. She and snowflake continued to walk the cargo bay. “ where could the admiral be.
Major Crystal“Aye.” The teams dispersed in search of the admiral. They knew he was in the cargobay, the computer had confirmed it. It was not as though they were short of places to look, the cargobay was filled with crates being transported with the admiral’s detachmemt. Perhaps he was among them.

=^=Aihia to Lt. K’Vexx; meet me in Cargo Bay 4 with an armed security detail.=^=
Aihia, CO
The Klingon was currently in the Security Office when he got the comm. =^=Understood, Captain. On my way.=^=
He looked around to the officers that were performing various weapon checks and observing security screens. After prioritizing who needed to remain here in the office, he announced to the group, “Winters, Jefferson, with me. Rifles and sidearms. He grabbed his own Type-3 phase rifle and checked it for energy consumption with the quickness of a seasoned veteran. His phaser was always on his side, but he checked it as well to make sure it was fully charged. After feeling that his weapons were acceptable, he took the D’k tahg from its place on his desk and slipped it into his boot. After all, a Klingon warrior was prepared for all eventualities, including the disruption or loss of his energy weapons.
When he was sure that they were ready, and mind you, the call from the captain only came 30 seconds earlier, K’Vexx led the two security officers out of the office. They arrived at Cargo Bay 4 within minutes.
“Captain,” he said as they entered. NE Winters and NE Jefferson stayed only a couple of feet behind the Klingon, all of them looking ready for whatever may come.

Crystal and snowflake hired the CoS voice but did not recognize it. The pair of them when to investigate. The rounded a crate hear back teeth bared crystal had her weapon rested. Snowflake the full grown mail snow leopard quickly noticed that Lt K’Vexx was a Klingon and relaxed he just sat next to major crystal. “ Who are you and why are you here” Crystal growled. She chose to ignore snowflake’s behavior the cat liked most Klingons so she was not supposed he was calm.
Crystal Marine CO“It’s all right, Major.” Aihia approached, a phaser visibly hanging from the holster of her belt. “Time has been unkind, so I doubt you two have met. Major Crystal, this is Lieutenant K’Vexx. He is the Dauntless’ new Chief of Security. Lieutenant, this is Major Crystal, our Marine Detachment Commander and her companion, Snowflake. Do not be alarmed, either of you, we have more important things to investigate than each other.” She turned to Crystal, “Status update please. What have you found?”
Aihia, CO
K’Vexx nodded to Major Crystal and looked Snowflake up and down. I’m glad they’re on our side, he thought to himself.
Crystal dropped her weapon. ” my teams are still looking for the Admiral it appears those crates belong to him. He had better hope one of my teams find him before snowflake and I do” she growled baring her teeth for a moment. That combined with the agitated movement of her tail was a pretty good indicator that she was agitated. ” the cargo bay is huge and full of crates as you can see it will take some time to find him” she said.
Crystal Marine CO“What can we do to assist?” the Klingon asked, indicating the two security officers he brought with him.
-Lt. K’Vexx, CoS
“ stay with the captain if you guys would like to help sweep the cargo bay you are welcome to captain, if you find him do not engage him single my team and weight for us to help take him into custody the admiral will mostly be well armed and dangerous. “ crystal said. Crystal was just as formidable and snowflake through most did not notice at first.
Crystal Marine CO“Understood,” the Klingon growled while nodding to his security officers. They split up, each knowing to look and not engage the possible hostile. When they found something, they would signal the major.

OOC: Quick question sorry to interrupt, but should Heather come to find Lt. K’Vexx here or would you prefer a separate thread?
Heather
OOC: I don’t have a preference, actually. So here or a new thread is fine with me. :-)
-Curtiss
Heather had checked with the Security offices without consulting the Ships computer for the Security Chief’s location when she got to the security officers and learned he wasn’t in she had then inquired with the Computer. Learning he was in the Cargo bay 4 Heather had made her way there to find the Chief. Now that she was here she was looking around and was surprised to find that the Captain was here as well. As she looked around she saw the person she was looking for and made her way towards the Klingon Security Chief.
Heather Argeneau, CE
Snowflake once again rounded a corner he had hurd someone enter. The cat growled a low warning to Heather. He was warning her of danger before he returned to where every Crystal was still looking for the Admiral.
Crystal Marine COThe Klingon heard Argeneau’s approach only slightly after Snowflake’s low growl alerted him to the Atlantean’s entrance into the cargo bay. As he glanced toward her, he noticed her silvery-green eyes and hair that was red as fire itself. And she was walking directly towards him. He squinted his eyes as she neared, wondering what the chief engineer needed. He simply said, “nuq ‘e’ bImejnIS?” He hadn’t fully realized that he slipped back into his native Klingon as he asked her the question.

Heather looked to the Klingon Security Chief of the ship and cocked her head to the side wondering if he thought she did not understand his native language. Heather was 268 years old she, pride herself on using that time to learn rather than laze about. “QaH Sumqu’, pa’ pIH nuv Sumqu’ chemvaH tIlegh vaj vaj busy, (I need help, there is a suspicious person I need looked into if you are not busy),” Heather said in his native language, her hands on her hips.
Heather Argeneau, CE
K’Vexx eyebrows raised in a look of genuine surprise as Argeneau replied to him in perfectly accented Klingon. The shock was enough to jar him back to English. “Of course, lieutenant.” He turned to NE Winters and NE Jefferson and gave them orders to continue looking for the admiral, but to let Major Crystal know as soon as they found him. He stressed the importance of not engaging the potential hostile before turning back to the chief engineer.
“K’Vexx,” he prompted, then before she could reply, he quickly added, “This suspicious person? What do you know about them?”
